The Society performing at the Niel Gow Festival 22nd March 2015

Dunkeld & District Strathspey & Reel Society was formed in 1932 to promote the playing and enjoyment of Scottish Fiddle Music.

Now in our 83rd year we are as enthusiastic as ever, playing a wide variety of Scottish Music which is performed at a number of concerts we hold throughout the year.

Members of the Society are often invited to play at Fiddle Rallies around the country.

We are proud of our local connection to the heritage of Niel Gow and always include some of his tunes in our programme.

The Society meets every Monday in the Royal School of Dunkeld between 7.30-9.30 pm during school term time. New members are always made very welcome.
