Dunkeld and District Strathspey and Reel Society

Welcome to our Society Website !

We hope that you will enjoy learning about us,

and what we do.

Although we are based in Dunkeld, our members come from all over Perthshire to enjoy playing Traditional and Contemporary Scottish music together. 

Although mainly Fiddles, we welcome any instrument that works within an Orchestra, and presently have Accordions, Flutes, Cellos and occasionally Drums !

All of our practices and performances are brilliantly accompanied by Dennis Deas playing Piano.

 

Perthshire is the home of many famous Fiddlers, and we enjoy playing their tunes under the guidance of our conductor and tutor
